In June, I had the opportunity to participate in the Oikonomia Network’s Symposium on Faith, Work and Economics. The symposium was hosted by Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and made possible through the generosity of the Kern Family Foundation. I presented a paper entitled, "Sell Your Possessions: Luke 12:33 and the Greco-Roman Utopian Ideal," and was honored to receive the first place prize of $2,000. My full paper will be appearing in the Spring issue of the Southeastern Theological Review.
